Slot Machine Myths

The casino is one source of amusement for anyone who needs relaxation or just wants to enjoy playing and betting. Slot machines are among the popular games in the casino that every casino goes enjoy playing. But most of the people just play without really understanding the game and how they can win. Also, a number of so-called slot machine experts and ordinary players who believe certain myths that they think help them to win and may be preventing them from winning.

Here are some of the slot machine myths that are currently out there:

    1. When you stop playing in a particular slot machine and immediately, somebody gets to play with it after you left, that player will win the jackpot.
This is a complete false statement. Each slot machine contains a computer chip that is responsible for random number generation. One of the 1 to 16 billion random number combinations may come out in one play. So, when someone plays the slot machine right after you left and had won jackpot, it is purely luck and coincidence.
    2. The result of a slot machine spin is greatly influenced by the number of coins being played or the results of the previous spins.
Again, result of a slop machine spin is based on random that computer generated. Slot machine results are completely unaffected by any number of coins or spins in the slot machine. Because it is random, it is not affected by any win or lost spins made previously or the number of coins placed inside the machine. The result is purely technical and in random.
    3. There is an equal probability for each symbol to come out each time the reel stops.
This is an old fact actually, when the non-computerized slot machines are operating. However, since most of the slot machines today are computerized the probability is not the same. For instance, if there are 20 symbols, in the old slot machines, there will be 20 probability of showing in the payline, but today, this is already untrue.
    4. Slot machines are programmed to pay more during weekends than in other days of the week.
This is again another hear say. Casinos are being regulated by gaming authorities in the land thus, it does not meddle with how payout will be made or how much will be won in a particular day. Casinos operating slot machines follow standards and there are regulations and policies that they also need to abide with else they will be out of business. The computer chips in slot machines are regularly calibrated and inspected thus, this theory is completely untrue.
    5. Slot machines allow large pay back when the player uses a slot card.
There is no connection whatsoever of the pay back to the slot card or coin. The slot machine is a computerized machine that generates numbers using the random approach. Therefore, this is another false belief that is being fed to many slot machine players.
    6. The location of the slot machine affects the amount of pay back. Those that are located at the end of the aisle and those that are positioned at the entrance of the casino pay more than the other slot machines.

Again, there is no truth to this statement. Wins or loses depends on the random numbers generated by the chip inside the slot machine. The location of a machine does not influence the result or the pay back of a slot machine.

If you are new at playing slot machines, it pays to read this article first before anyone will feed you these false ideas.
